What is Pagan Awareness Day?

We acknowledge we gather on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples – Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
Partial proceeds from all of our events and our donations will be donated straight back into indigenous communities as a part of our commitment to truth, reconciliation, and meaningful action.
Pagan Awareness Day is part of the broader Pagan Pride Project, a respected non-profit dedicated to advancing Pagan religions and combating prejudice and discrimination based on religious belief.
Our mission is to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity, and community.
Our values we draw from the inspirations of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth:
- Air (Education): We believe in giving the public accurate, respectful information about Pagan paths so that practicing our spiritual traditions openly becomes possible.
- Fire (Activism): It’s not enough to wait for curiosity, we act with courage on our convictions to reach out, connect, and engage.
- Water (Charity): Our abundance is meant to be shared. By giving compassionately to our communities, we demonstrate trust in reciprocity with the Gods and the world.
- Earth (Community): Building and weaving local Pagan networks fosters mutual support and shows the broader world that Paganism is a valid, vibrant spiritual path, not a fringe or isolated belief.
We not only celebrate the richness of Pagan identity but also provide platforms for education, demystification and positive representation in society.
Pagan Awareness Day events offer opportunities for public rituals, charity work , media outreach and cultural exchange.
